Lucy Beale

Lucy studied Fine Art at Cumbria College of Art and Design, graduating in 1998.

Lucy works with oil paint on canvas and paper, taking inspiration from time spent in the Sussex countryside and coast with her family.

Lucy uses muted colours and soft marks to express the subtly of colour and light on the landscape.

Whether in the depths of winter, or on a beautiful sunny day the ever changing light and transient nature of the surroundings are her inspiration.
