Lucy Beale
Lucy studied Fine Art at Cumbria College of Art and Design, graduating in 1998.
Working with oil paint on canvas and paper, Lucy takes inspiration from time spent in the Sussex countryside and coast with her family.
Lucy’s work balances abstraction and landscape, drawing from the colour, movement and emotion of time spent outdoors with her family. Her pieces evolve through process allowing colour, form and instinct to lead the way.
Whether in the depths of winter, or on a beautiful sunny day the ever changing light and transient nature of the surroundings are her inspiration.
